Flyboy1942how about in staead of tanks and plane and infantry symbols you use little pins. light blue: fighter plane dark blue: bomber greens:tanks yellows:support vehicles browns:anything else these would be for the commander only, and would update position every 10 seconds or so.

god please no!!!!(i am colorblindcry.gif)

I have an idea, could you possibly look into the option of only having spotted enemy vehicles showing up on the commander map? This would make the scout kits really usefull. And along with this, have it show the specific tank name. So that the commander can tell the difference between a Bren carrier and a King tiger.

Instead of the names or colored pins, use symbols to designate the different vehicles. Just like this: showimage.php?i=5693&catid=newimages showimage.php?i=5694&catid=newimagesimg100.gif img110.gif img116.gif img128.gif Well, you get the idea.

and Im not sure swastica in your sig is permitted...
- No swastikas in clearly visible positions (details such as insignia or medals on uniforms are acceptable)

Enough said :D Cheers!

I like the idea of the pins, but please use vehicle symbols, as I too am colorblind, and would do horribly as a commander as a result. With the ten second update thing, this could be negated by having scouts spot on enemy positions, which could give you a live update of their movements, not ones that are ten seconds old.

I like the idea. And WOW I didn't know there was so many colorblind people here. Well, you sure learn something here. No offense to you but I just can't keep myself for feeling sorry for you. :(

Considering most men have some kind of colorblindness (myself included), I am not surprised. I hate the Yellow/Green change when a person on my buddy list asks for repairs or spots something, I really cannot see that one.

Not nessecairily, our eye distinguishes red, green and blue. So it is possible just not to see green for example.

Duke of Holland Thank you for the swastika thing and I like icons. Also colr blindness is more typical in men.Commander should see arty spots and decide if there arty is needed and F keys should show up on all(or some)people (in a squad). Commander should not be god...

Yeah the fact that I inherited my colorblindness from him was the only thing I never liked about my grandpa. I can't distinguish between shades of blue and purple, red and brown, yellow and green, and red and orange, so as you can imagine, getting dressed is kind of hardyeltongue.gif Actually it's not that big of a deal, you learn to live with it, and just look at colors VERY closelysmilie.gif
