Now we have truck/halftrack do we add towed feature for light or rocket artillery such as Nebelwerfer or light Anti-tank/air guns such as 37 mm? It will require at least 2 people to hook up the ATY or AT to the rear of the transporter and need at least 2 people to unhook the guns from the transporter and install at certain spot. It will take some time to complete the whole process. By doing so we can form a small AT or ATY group (instead of the self-propelled guns) and relocate the equipments to the place where the team needs the most. PS: Did anybody suggest to add Wurfrahmen vs the Russian Katyusha?

You can't hook up a towable gun to a vehicle with the Bf1942 engine, you can only take it off, the gun has to spawn attached to the vehicle. It would be a great addition to the mod as towable AT guns have been in BG42, but i don't think the Nebelwerfer should be made towable, its powerful enough as it is, giving it the ability to move would be taking the piss, FH needs more Field guns and howitzers.

FH had towed 88 but the vehicle and 88 needed half the map to turn. Until their is a coding breakthrough we have been getting vehicle mounted A/T guns. Fortunately this is historically accurate.

Brits had 2lbr and 6lbr Portee's

French had 37mm A/T on Laffey

US had 37mm and later 57mm A/T on back of the Dodge 3/4 ton weapons carrier, 76mm gun on M3 Halfttrack.

Soviets had 47mm and later 57mm on Komsolets artillery tractors, Soviets also had a version of lend lease halftrack with 57mm gun mounted in the back.

Germans had Pak 40 on RSO, PAK40on Hanomag, PAK40 and 88's on SdKfz.7.

Italy had 47mm A/T on Sahariana, 75mm L/46 on Lancia Ro trucks, 90mmL/53 on Fiat trucks, and the list goes on.

Anlushac11 all of your listed are SPG (self-propelled guns). I was talking about towed artillery. For SPG, is there any plan to add the German Wurfrahmen?

Well Wurfrahmen are mounted on the Sd.Kfz.251/1 "Stuka zu Fuss"

Anlushac11Germans had Pak 40 on RSO, PAK40on Hanomag, PAK40 and 88's on SdKfz.7.

Don't forget the Sd.Kfz.234/4: attachment.php?attachmentid=24486&stc=1 Also there was the Sd.Kfz.250/1 Neue Art mit 5cm PaK38: attachment.php?attachmentid=24485&stc=1

Actually, moving the Nebel around would be a mixed bag. Yes, it would be more flexible in use, but moving it around would throw off the cloud aimers :D

Did you read any of the posts or mine at all? You would have seen where we stated that FH tried to do towed weapons and pulled it out because it didnt work. That is why we have things like the SdKfz.7 with the 88 on the back.

Major Hartmann is still trying to debug the code so yes there is a chance it will be back in a future release.

A/T guns on vehicles are not generally conisdered SPG's since they are direct fire weapons.

Things like Wespe's, Hummel's, Bison's, Hanomag Stuka Zu Fuss and such are SPG's because they are not direct fire weapons. They fire in a support role.

For Wurfrahmen look at the Nebelwerfer and you might be interseted to see this, listed on FH's website. Panzerwerfer.jpg

Anlushac11 sorry my previous post was kinda misleading. Silian explained clearly that towed aty doesn't work at bf1942 engine. I didn't push for that. I just said that I was talking about towed artillery. Thanx for additional information btw.

Are you asking for towed guns that are already deployed like the US 105mm howitzer?

There have been several threads asking for British 25lbr and german 105mm howitzers and Japanese 105mm artillery.
