Friendly one and enemy one, respectively. You can only refill your ammo, including vehicles, from friendly ammunition box, or you need to drive the ammo trucks to go along with your offense in order to refill your weapons in the enemy controlled areas. It is almost unlikely that the friendly units can pick up appropriate ammunition types at enemy arsenal.

You can't rearm at enemy airfields, so it's quite possible. However, what do you do when the flag changes sides? The people that just captured the flag will have no way to defend it cause they can't use the ammo box there? Besides, BF2 has a support class that drops ammo to friendlies, and there are no ammo boxes anywhere on the map. I think that's more realistic, and it should be kept like that for FH2

There should be ammo-hanomags/ammo-willies around, i think.

Not if the support class keeps the MG. A MG42 weights what? 24 kilos or so? Plus ammo for an entire squad? Even the arian ubermensch hitler dreamed of would have had trouble with that. IMHO it should be the other way around - riflemen carry the ammo for the support class and get their own ammo from ammo hanomags, trucks or big depots (mainbase).

Captureing enemy objectives accomplishes only part of mission. How to defend it is another challenge faced by the offenders. Getting supply from rear definately helps. Trucks or half-tracks now play more critical role in the game. I agree

Actually no... because in RL there will be someone that would be ordered to get the supplies there... but in this game, even if the commander gives an order, most won't care

Perhaps the MG and the Ammo providing class can be split up?
