it would be cool in FH2 if you go in the water(deep), and you come out your gun is jamed, and then an unjaming animation takes place, or on a Omaha Beach map, all the M1 Garands have the waterproof coverslip.
I actually wonder wat makes a firearm "jam" when it has been submerged. I also don't think "jam" is the right word.A weapon jams if theres a piece of dirt blocking the bolt or something like that, but this can't be the case with water, so wat's going on then?
well, war water is usually pretty dirty/muddy, which can cause jamming. Also, the weapon can misfire if the chamber has water in it.
Not a bad idea, although why not just have weapons jam randomly, or would it be too much of a pain to track?
Could be a fun feature but I see the downsides aswell. It would bring luck and chance into the game at the price of the significance of skill. I know some people would strongly oppose this since it would hamper their 1337 skillz. Then again, it would be the same for all. The gun jammed for you this firefight but it might jam the next time for the guy who shot you. Still, I imagine something like this. *Sneaks up behind sniper, putting rifle one inch from the snipers head *Click, click... -What the hel...unjam damn you! *Sniper turns around and knifes you. *You punch a big round hole into your computerscreen and will not be able to play FH for quite some time.
Frenkan*You punch a big round hole into your computerscreen and will not be able to play FH for quite some time.
Done that before!:)
Always liked the AArmy jam feature, wasn't enough to be annoying, but enough to keep you on your toes.
Sounds like a cool idea, in Desert maps it could be sand from sand storms or proning to long in the dirt that causes the jam.
Btw, is it just me or are most of pmbf1942's post about Omaha beach or references to it?

I think he's only played that one map.
Ive played many more maps, I just like to foucus on Omaha, but on to the main topic: You could press a key to unjam the weapon
