Its just a question really, and depending on the answer maybe a suggestion. Why is the thing so bloody inaccurate? Is this realistic? i cannot imagine it being.. since its impossible to hit anything at long range.. think about planes and buffalo landing craft.. Could the accuracy be increased maybe? if the gun really was that inaccurate i cant imagine the japs fielding it succesfully.
Muzzle velocity should be about 2346fps or 720m/s. That is not too bad and is between the Shermans 75mm (2000fps) and the US 76mm M1 cannon (2600fps)
I have no figures on penetration but am still looking.
it could have been that i have been treating it wrong, since it looks so much like an 88 i probably expected it had the same muzzle velocity and there for the same shell drop over distance.
But even then.. the crosshairs are wide apart.
It does have a trajectory like a low velocity howitzer instead of a medium to high velocity gun.
The damage I think is very good if you can hit but yeh the trajectory does seem low, it should have as good a trajectory as the US 75mm at least.
Dime made it that inaccurate for Tawara to give the US a chance.
I suspected that much, but its like that on Iwo as well.. of course they are all invasion beaches but thats like nerfing german nebelwerfers and defguns to go easy on the allies.. sounds a little weird to me.
I dont know if this has been proposed already, but I think the Japs need an AT Rifle, give them the type 97.

This would make a good alternative to the AT grenade kit which is currently grossly overused. Seems a little odd to drive to a flag in a Sherman and take hits from AT grenades from six different directions.
Lounge mine and type 3 grenade would be welcome too
hmm if us had a reload for its aircraft on tarawa (or do they? iv not found it)they could probably be made more accurate. That way the gun emplacments would more likey be taken out.
