In Fh1 the Kangaroo armoured personnel carrier's were all defrocked preist chassis. These were used but more commonley old Ram tanks from canada were used. It would be nice to see this version of the Kangaroo implemented if possible. ct159604.jpgKangaroo1.jpghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kangaroo_(armoured_personnel_carrier)

Don't forget the churchill kangaroo! Another good idea for me or the devs to make would be the priest command vehicle which would be an equivalent to the SdKfz 251/250 german command vehicles.

Good to see more western canadians on these forums.

ya, are they going to require the commander to be in a specific location/building/vehicle to command? It would be a good idea

As well, Im tired of the american white stars on canadian equipment in vanilla bf42 and fh1. It would be nice to replace these with a canadian emblem or nothing at all.

Wouldnt a AEC Armoured Command Vehicle be better suited for North Africa maps? Unfortunaly, it doesnt have any armament for self defense. Regarding that picture are you sure its a command vehicle? I have never heard of any M7 Priests being converted into command vehicles. :uhm: Alternatively, the M3 Scout Car could be used for Commanding and other purposes. Its also a fairly interesting vehicle for North Africa.

Yeah, we were just getting ahead of the curve by suggesting late-war stuff. Here's my source on the commander's-priest vehicle. The Canadian Priest Kangaroo

I don't like that M3 scout car, it looks to easy to snipe at. The 251 series at least has higher walls but on the other hand the priest commander wagen and the other vehicle you suggested looks too protected, if there is such a thing.

Ya, you can either have visibility or protection. Either way could screw you over.

Well, you could always add the M20 Armored Utility Car. However, it didnt see action until 1943, though. I cant find any other armoured vehicle that where used in North Africa in the commanding role, though. One advantage of adding the M3 Scout Car is that it can be used ingame for alot of things, just like in real life, for example as a APC providing transport for a small squad and assist them in taking a flag, guntractor and even as a ambulance.

Yeah the AEC seems too specific. If I were the devs I would not want to bring it into the game...

Well, its true that its specific. If the devs do decide to add it to the game then the AEC could be used by the Germans as a Beute vehicle. The Germans captured three of them and two of them where used by Rommel. They had the nickname "Max" and "Moritz".
