Ccharge;4773063k disregard the first post i ment the G43. I got abit confused after looking at weapons. Was the Kar98ZF used as the mainstream sniper at the beginning of the war though?
G43 stands for Gewehr 1943, the war started in 1939 so the first 3 years soldiers would only see the Kar98 as sniper rifle and after that the G43 sniper rifles where still limited. The Gew98's where already out of service for a long time so the only rifle able to wear a scope at the beginning of the war was the Kar98.
No, not reduced, maybe increased alongside their non scoped bros, but don't quote me on this

Quoted.

Snipers normally preferred bolt actions anyways for greater accuracy, range, and power.

So, I'd expect snipers to use versions of the K98 (the G98, or K98K) throughout the war.

'[WOLF Ionizer;4773354']The center post got thinner, right? Now we can actually see our targets as we smear his brains on the wall behind him!

I had screenshots posted from before the patch from tobruk showing the distances you could get with the rifles, now it seems you arn't guaranteed the kill anymore, I can see the spread at over 2 feet from aimpoint (to left and right). I'll try to make some small vids of what I mean. (hopefully)
