kpv_02.jpgKPV 14.5mm autocannon KPV youtube video This weapon was put into testing in late 1944 so in theory this could be featured on the late eastern front maps.

It packs the massive 14.5mm anti-material round having roughly twice as much power as your standerd .50 bmg this thing is a monster.

First sentence of the wikipedia article:

The KPV heavy machine gun (Krupnokaliberniy Pulemyot Vladimorova, in Russian as Крупнокалиберный Пулемет Владимирова, or КПВ) is a Soviet designed 14.5×114 mm-caliber heavy machine gun, which first entered service as an infantry weapon (designated PKP) in 1949.

The development of the machine gun began in 1944.

So most likely it did not see field tests at all during 1944. If it did, it was in such small quantities it really doesnt deserve a proper place in FH2.

Nice suggestion tho.

Well, according to World Guns also it was put into trial at 1944, meaning it had also 1945 in the war, however you might be correct that it was in meaningless quantities, thanks for applauding my suggestion though :)

Suggestions are always welcome. As long as they arent something totally ridiculous.

I like it... but I have to agree with flippy, not because she's the woman in the relationship, but because I really doubt it saw much action at all, and I belive that the devs would rather spend more time on things that were used throughout the war instead of just a prototype testing in the end..

Though, I'd love to see it, if I ever will act on my Early-Cold War map idea for FH2 (Americans vs Soviets.. mmmm..) but yeah.. Nice suggestion :D

I can see this is totally not priority, however it might come later along with other "prototypish" weaponry and equipment. It would be awesome if this was featured on at least 1 map though :)
