GrapeI just don't see the need for more dogfighting. A dogfight rarely (though on some, infrequent, occasion) assists a team in the taking and defending of a flag. And that's really what leads your team to winning. Not too fighter planes circling all night long, helping no one but themselves.

Play with good fighter pilots..and they can render the enemys air force useless.. Imagine El alamien with the germans having no planes? Gazala with no allied planes? Even on Pacific maps having an air edge can decide it before a solider even touches the dirt.

Actually, you don't even have to have good fighter pilots; (as in skilled) I'm certainly no better than an average pilot (maybe even worse :D), but because I know what my job as a fighter pilot is, even if I can't shoot down the fighter going after a friendly bomber, I can at least scare him, and make him break off the attack, which, even if he shoots me down, at least gives the bomber a chance to escape or make another attack run. I really enjoy trying to be a proper fighter pilot, even if I don't get any kills. (which I often don't)

LordbutterThe japs have plenty of bombers to take out the aa yes...how many PUB players attack them? My guess is little to none. You cant assume just becuase average pubbers are easy prey to aa that its effectiveness applies to all players. Pubbies will always do dumb things. Its the good players who will learn to use these new advantages to the utmost. Giving good players more of an edge with already uber vechiles is unneccesary.

Not sure about that,since if attacked in a stationary aa-gun I can hear an attacking aircraft a lot earlier than i can see it. The pilot does not have to see since he knows where I am,and the friggin sandbags shows earlier than the gun and the plane,giving an advantage to the pilot. A longer wiewdistance would be helpful,imo.

easiest way to kill stationary flak guns is dive on top of them....Dosnt matter if you see, hear or anything. Flak guns do not have the rotation to fire straight up. Increasing veiw distance just means you will see me flying over you, watch me helplessly as i dive straight down, and see the bomb as it lands on your face.
