I truly believe that this mod could benefit from some of the features of its competition, as terriblely boring as some of them may be DC

BG42: -Flamethrowers work, and well to. They not only add a great deal of atmosphere to the pacific theater, but they also, done FH style, add tons of realsim. Not many people here would think of the Germans and Italians using flamethrowers, but they did... -6 classes. Personally, I dont like BG, but this 6 class feature is a work of art. Sometimes you might need both an officer to spot a target, and a CQ class; or a BAR and a bazooka. With this system, you get all the classes you need!

FinnWars: -Class limitations. This sure as hell beats having to run all over the map to find your panzerschrek or STG44 kit... With this system you could have DP/MG42 gunners on maps like Zeliona Gora spawn with you, but maybe only 2 of them spawn, like in FW. -The tanking system. ITS LAME! This mod is proof of the asshole-ness of so many players. For those of you that dont know of this system, to go foreward you press "W" and "UP" at the same time. To turn, take your finger off the key that is on the side you want to go... You get the idea. Its hard as hell and prohibits truly fun tank battles. Also, their seperate gunner and driver thing is noob central. Oh so many times have I been driving and had my T35 hijacked by some moron. Or worse yet, been burning the enemy with my flametank and have some moron decide to move me to a flag, only to get a molotov thrown on me, which bring me to my next point. -Molotovs. Wow, this was a great idea. Not sarcasticaly... They are great anti-tank weapons that kill the driver/gunner, yet let the tank live. It works well and looks pretty good for a BF flame...

DC (We all know how much this mod and its sell-outs suck, but hear me out) -BALANCE SUCKS! Noobs decide here to just all spawn as snipers and never cap a flag, or ram shit with A-10s. This could easily happen when the Japs get that BS vanilla No.5 rifle back, or the Panzer2 starts knocking off Matilda IIs. Dont let this happen! -Armories. This is the one thing that I enjoy about the DC system. Instead of making kits spawn all over the place, they put all the kits for one team in one or two well known buildings, preventing people running all over Baghdad looking for a M82A1 rifle. This would work very well in FH.

XWW2, our extreme brothers. -AT weapons. Their anti-tanks weapons dont leave an unrealistic line of smoke behind the rocket, helping the poor Bazooka man survive for a number of minutes... This should really happen soon. -Ironsights. I'm not saying on all weapons, but on the support ones. Putting irons on a BAR or MG42 prevents ass from running around with a LMG like its a Thompson spraying everyone with bullets. Removing the regular sights and putting irons on would really help. Also, on AT weapons. This would help prevent weapons (mostly slower ones, ie the Panzerfaust and PIAT) from falling short every damn time. Finally, tankers would fear the Panzerfaust like they did in real life!!! -Realistic turret rotation sucks. This one speaks for itself. Never get into a PAK40 in this mod, its your death!

I am in no way saying that we should totally emulate these mods, but FH really would play better with some of their features.

I like the FinnWars tank control system. Very realistic, although not very good with little kids around.

I don't really see what's wrong with realistic turret rotation? From my experience, Pak40 is, if anything, death to enemy tanks.

I've made the statement before that having 1 person control the tank is actually more realistic than having 2. And it's annoying how they up/down ramp keys are reversed for me when using the FW tanks, because the first thing I did when editing BF controls was say "Huh, why is lower hatch and dive the up arrow?" And I switched them. But I do appreciate the effort to make tanks more mechanical and awkward. They're too much like mobile suit armor in your typical anime cartoon than collections of watch parts.

I don't really see what's wrong with realistic turret rotation? From my experience, Pak40 is, if anything, death to enemy tanks.

The problem I see is that entire Russian advances would fail because some morons are driving the tanks in cirlces.

The Pak40 is death to enemy tanks, but only if you can turn the gun fast enough. Ive been killed by a Jeep's MG because he could drive faster than i could rotate...

The damn thing about Finnwars was is that they never though anyone might be playing with the arrow keys instead of WSAD. I´ve played with arrow keys since my uncle got me DOOM as a kid and dont plan on stopping.

As for the rest, if you read the FH changelog closley you´d have seen the entry "new flamethrower added". Besides that, most of your suggestions are fine.

A good way to solve this is to set your alternative keys for arrow up, arrow down, W and S to 4 keys very close to eachother, like the pad on the right so it' s quite easy to control them...

yeah, um, about finnwars, just reassign the keys and youll be fine. fw is a great mod, but their tank battles, when they occur, do suck. ill stick to my soumi and ppd34...
