yeh I agree to that, but I dont know if it is possible with this current engine, so ya know.
would only be good if it was dynamic and not like SHs shs is probally the best ones cuse if there are more than the allowed number in a class you are forced to swap to the infantry class but in Finwars that also have this before the game starts every body can pic a class and play in it cuse there is nobody in that class and you dont ge forced to swap like in SH

|KFG|Hell_Marchi havent seen any type of class limit system in any bf mod what so ever. I think for both the sake of realism snd for playability. it should also be adjustable per map an done by a percent or ratio of some sort.If it was done the way most games do it then it could then there would still be problems ei if a server is only half full (40 slot server) and iit was on a russain map with a limit of 5 ppsh's and since it is only half full that would have half the russian team with ppsh's. A class limitation system is long long overdue
why would the limit the russians when they equipped whole units with ppsh41s?
yeah, but thats obvisouly eastern front only.
either way, takiing away smgs is a big no-no. Keep in mind that a soldier might not be issued the gun he used. It was easy to get a thompson or a colt or whatever if you really wanted one.
Note about the thompson. ive finished the book d-day for the 5000000000000000th time. On page 559-560 (paperback) polish commandos talk about their sad experiences with the 30 round mag on the Thompson. Apparently, it was so heavy that the mag would fall out of the gun. Just a note...
Some of the smg's effectiveness is going to be taken away by adding bullet drop so that should lessen the number of people who pick them anyway.

Great point. Game balance has to be thought of aswell though.
