...When hitting buildings. Just like in real life. So if you're in close quarters with the pz4f2, you might not be able to rotate the turret if you don't have enough room. This would not only make the f2 worse, but the f1 better.

but the current game there aren't any problems caused by that

I think Ctz or someone told us that it was impossible to do this efficiently.

I remember one of the old FH1 patches (0.5 something?) where barrels had a collision mesh. When you collised with a wall rahter then the house stopping the turret, the entire tank was pushed away or would even flip the tank over or glitch it into other objects... :lol:

What's USI? Is that a mod on the BF2 engine? I suspect this is yet another engine limitation.

They gave it a try in PR with amusing results, the barrel collision combines with lag causes tanks to go mental (and airborne).

Yeah it was on the T62 model for sure, and it seemed to work quite well. It is entirely possible but sometimes a bit buggy.
