From what i have heard, VB is hard. I know Java, so if you need an applet, you know where to ask :)

I think that VB is one of the easiest programming languages out there :nodding: I've written a few apps and think that Visual Basic is an excellent language to start programming in if you're new to the programming world.

VB is hard, but very easy compared to many of the other programming languages(C++). I am taking a java class next year :)

VB isn't the easiest language out there for beginners, but it ranks close.

If you want some VB tutorials, try here.

Alternatively, you could try Delphi. I find that the easiest language to use, in my opinion it's even easier than BASIC.

Besides, Assembly is for the 1337. :p

EDIT: Bloody hell, where did you dig up this thread? It's two or three years old!
