Could the distant sound of MGs and other loud guns (Cannon or firearm) be made alot louder. A distant MG42 firing should be heard over the distance. Currently, in FH1, this is not the case. Rifles actually sound alot louder in the distance than MGs. It gets irritating sudenly getting hit ny something and findng out that it was an mg42 30 or feet away and yet having had no audible sign that it was even firing in your direction
everything should be louder in general. Remember how loud call of duty first seemed? thats how loud FH2 should be.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

i couldnt agree more. if applied to rifles it would make sniping a bit more difficult.

yeah, MG74/42 is loud as hell, should be even louder as in RO
If you dled Cheese&Bratwurst T&S pack and the patch you have distant MG sounds.
I AM using the sound and texture patch and it sounds like a bee in the distance. what I know is that the sound of aMachine gun was loud, and it was demoralising to hear it over the distance especially if yuo were passing in that direction. So I am wishing that its sound in the distance can be raised reall high so that you can hear it from far away.

Sound coding in FH1 well.. sucked. This is FH2 so I'm sure they will do a better job. :)
I think i need to agree with that, the rifles are loud as hell but MG-s?no altough the bad thing is that i can't paly bf 1942 or any mods anymore because of computer problems otherwise i would probably have downloaded some sound pack awhile ago
I think evrything should be loud, war is loud, so evrything should be loud, you should be able to hear cannons firing all across the map and the same with infantry weapons and aircraft sounds flying through the air, i sure hope sounds are heard all over the place, be very realistic and great for imersion.
I also hope that they do a good job as far as sorround sound goes since I intend on buying a Creative X-Fi and a logitech Z5500 speaker system. Oh it will be great!:nodding:
