The idea of putting more bodies around has been mentioned before, but it has a serious roadblock of lag creation. If people's bodies stay, or if they are scattered around as statics on the map its a signigicant resource because they are such high detail (on the order of several thousand reportedely). To get around this what about creating a low poly corpse, or either from scratch or by down grading the current one. THe bodies coudl be placed on the battlefield for atmosphere (probably the most obvious example being charlie sector). TO cut down on the polys further, maybe just do a 'half man' half submerged in mud lieing face down. The hands and face could be obscured, for a sort of fallen soldier look. If the low poly made it look bad in the face, in this way it could be obscured. Might be too gruesome but some sort of body part might be left around as well, like a blown off arm or something. I dunno about this though as it might be to graphic/shocking.

There is a leg, blown off at the knee, that is a static. Also there is the (German?) paratrooper dangling from a tree by his parachute, which can be found on Foy.

I have not found the knee, but yes of coure there is the well known paratrooper. The problem with using the dice body though is that its very high poly so they must be used sparingly or will cause to much lagg.

I think whatever it is in the corpses that blocks the bunkers in Omaha and narrow corridors should be removed. Is it collision mesh or what? It's kinda annoying in my opinion.

I really like this idea. If you make the body lay on the ground, which it obviously will, then you won't have to do the bottom half, you should also not have to do a collision mesh, for obvious reasons. If done right, this could really add that extra bit of atmosphere!

this sounds good to me :) bodies make good cover, instead of, a bush or rock so this could add a tactical aspect to the game aswell lay down amongst the dead and hehe.........AMBUSH!
