Doesn't the STG 44 use a good animation that could be put on the carbine? That way he would hold it at shoulder level and still be able to swap it around? If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but maybe..

StG is held similar to the BAR, and it has a different grip.

If there's another patch before 0.7 the team should prioritize making new animations, some things just look so wrong the way they are.

major hartman i was wondering speaking of weapons, will they fix the ppsh some recoil effect also the m1 garand has way to much recoil and spread and its rof is slower then a k98.

I find it the worst rifle in game best is the k98, also the carbine seems weaker then a handgun too. In the pto most thompsons used the roundel clip, they were used in the eto also 44. Same with the ppsh theres a version of it with banana clip used in 42-43.

Also armor has different dms but planes seem pretty similiar, you have the zero being super manueverable but the hellcat and corsair dont seem to be much faster or take more damage.

especially the stuka manueverability with a 1000kg bomb vs a mig or yak. Maybe these things have been discussed already but i pretty new to these forums.

It just ceases to amaze me how a hand gun guy jumping ducking jumping and moving can kill 5 bar people in crouch simply moving the mouse left and right sites open so much.

Is there anway to add a spread on weapons at distance so bar ppsh thompson mp40 sten are accurate close range only but not long range.

Also i was wondering how do some guys who are not meds take 3-5 upper torso shots when everyone else dies from one upper torso hit. I notice all the people who do really well take 2-3 hits while the majority die from 1, i ping very low 15-20ms and use 10bit cable, thier pings are low as well 40-60ms.

Are these people using the double health cheat that does pass pb, so does closed sites, no recoil, no haze the only thing that doesnt is toadvision. I dont cheat but like to knowwhats out there and have little geek cousins who let me know. Or are the people taking 3-4 shots just netlag but i see them on my screen blood spray and crosshairs lit up. Theres lots of this in wolf server especially the 16x32 bit switchers on normandie and other haze maps. Wolf is a fun server but during the evening i see so much of this at night the players are just very good and kick my butt but at least they die from one shot and dont take 3-4 upper torso or headshots.

first off the m1carbine is a pistol, shoots a smaller round than the garand therefore does less damage and has a shorter range.

second, shooting people in the arms tends to not kill them so do what i do shoot for their head or torso.

DustyBarrels, what are you smoking? I don't find the Garand less accurate than a K98 when properly aimed, and no way in hell does it shoot slower! K98 is probably the slowest-firing rifle in the game.

tv get one of your friends to get a k98 line up next to each other and see who gets more hits on a tree faster in the distance.

I have fired the garand in reality at Henrysville Sunset Hill Shooting Range in PA. and I can hit accurate at 50 yards like how the carbine shoots in game getting all 100s very quickly. Your shoulder absorbs the kickback so the sites stay perfectly lined up, the little bit it does move makes you have to adjust about a half of inch at 100 yards. call of duty and brother in arms has the garand closest to reality.

at 100yards i can hit the targets very quickly but takes about an extra second to line up a half of inch at 100 yards moves you off more then it does at 50 yards. There is no freaken way a m1 flies around like it does in the fh mod, and there is no way it ROF is correct. It does have a descent kickback in rl but in game it seems like corky romano is firing it.

I'm hoping i get a chance to fire a browning and get video of it for the fh team.

Colt 1911 fires a .45 round, the M1Carbine- .30 caliber. While the carbine was the same caliber as the rifle, the internals of the gun, along with design and performance of the cartridge are more closely related to a pistol. Remember, one of the main uses of the Carbine was a defensive weapon for support and other non-frontline troops.

LoL my commander in the Swedish "hemvärnet" (like the U.S nationalguard) have been shot by a BAR.. That does probarly hurt :)

A litllte bit off topic but who cares :)
