As we all know, m36 is one of the best defensive AT peices in game, and even good on attack if youve got cover to work with, buts it has always been so easily whore-able by infantry its not even funny. In maps like bocage where you have perfect vision across the map you can kill the 36 from 3 grids away with a k98. Ive seen pics of m36s with lil canopies of camo, and i think itd be pretty neat if you guys implimented that in fh2. I know that technically m36 could be killed from the gunner position, but how often in combat do yall think that happened? very rarely i would assume, And i can tell ya right now if im axis on bocage that m36 is gettin shot out at least 3-4 times before the maps done, just askin for a lil allied help:bows:

m36_serangkim4.jpg Something like that would be crazy! I'd actually like to see it the other way around. I'd like the DIC/EA M10 have its hat taken off. If that was a weakness of that tank destroyer I want to see it.

Both the M36 and M10 existed as open-topped basic versions, but often used canvas tops or "grenade shield" tops as in this picture:

I think it's silly to have a closed-roof M10; it's equally dumb to have the M36 gunner's head sticking out. For FH2, I'd like to see both canvas- and open-topped M10s and M36s.

I believe BF2 tank commanders can duck into/out of tanks (correct me if I'm wrong), and this would be a great way to deal with having crew in open-roofed vehicles.

Yeah it's kinda lame that in real life the M36 open top was for visibility and situational awareness, and if they needed to could keep their damn heads down.

In FH1 it's just the opposite. Despite sticking your head out all the time (unless you aim your gun as low as it can go, lil' trick), you're stuck with the narrow tank view regardless!!

The top gunners can duck into and out of the tank yes, but I am not sure if the driver/main gunner would be able to. Would be great to have the driver be able to stand up and out of the hatch to get a better view instead of just going into 3rd person, and then return to inside the turret when he is ready to engage targets.
