randomely spawning cover would work, and a coax would be good for taking out the hiding k98 trooper before he hits you, but if the anti air gunner was just lower, it would be a lot more effective as his role is just as equelly suicidal

Anshulac, any pics of M36 w/ armored cover kit attached?

Also, would it be possible to rig up the M36 w/ .50 cal up front so that both could be fired from position 1? Secondary fire = .50 cal, primary = 90mm. That thing would be a Panzer IV's worst nightmare (.50 cal hurts back/top and some sides of P4 if u didn't know)

God, that just makes so much more sense!

Hopefully the devs will put that in for .67 or .7, whichever the next release will be. I love the power of the Jackson, one of the only AFVs I am deadly in. Had great times with in in .61, then the took off the roof and all hell broke loose.

How about this for an idea?

The roof is removable! Use the "hatch up/hatch down" keys to remove or add on the top. With the top off, you can see much more of what is around you. With it on, the field of vision is worse.

Remember myself in sector 318, Got shot down by (damn I forgot the name, you know the flak mounted on a panzer hull? Well actually, it did not blow my tank, but killed me without even damaging the tank!! free tank for any german close! (btw it aint cuz I was mad dumb, I had just shot a panzer, so I fought by priorities and got killed anyway.) God that flak tank is kickdonkey (dont know if the word with a and 2 s is accepted in that forum)

Thats what I dont like now. If its M36 vs anything, all the other vehicle has to do is spray the top of the tank with MG fire. Free kill, free tank.

That is the Ostwind, btw.

I usually just hang way back in the Jackson and find a good ambush position -- I let the infantry get up ahead to take out the enemy infantry -- haven't been sniped too many times.

Maybe could have different positions -- a safe, restricted view from the drivers seat (kind of like the Stug), but if you want to use the turret, you need to access that spot with it's vulnerabilities.

Off topic -- Anluschac, the quote in your signature, in the copy of the script that I have, it reads C-beams, not sea beams (I thought for years it was sea beams, too--however, with Roy being a combat unit, refering to some type of beam weaponry would make more sense). And its..."off the shoulder of Orion" :)

Good idea - Could also be linked to tanksight/driver view, which seems logical - you would close the hatch when engaging an enemy and have it open when moving. The driver view could even be moved from the inside the tank to the turret.

:bows: I just copy and pasted a quote, but I will fix it. Thanks. I have two versions both supposedly movie scripts transcripts. One is my quote and the other is your, but yours makes more sense.
