Basically the allied version of the SdKfz 7/1 "Flakvierling". For certain maps. Think round like 1944

Any allied mobile AA would be great. Besides an M19 on one map and the staghound (this was removed from Breakthrough?) allies have little mobile AA, the Russians have absolutely nothing.

Wasn't there something like mounted on the American APC?

As far as i can remember, because it was pretty ineffective against planes. Sucks though, it was one of my favorite vehicles. :(

snotvod The m-16 halftrack, my grandfather was a gunner on one of these just after the war. It's bassicaly an m5a1 halftrack with an m51 mounted on the back. m51 on a trailer: http://images.google.be/imgres?imgurl=http://www.olive-drab.com/images/quad50_557aaa_375.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.olive-drab.com/od_other_firearms_mg_m2_quad50.php&h=328&w=270&sz=40&tbnid=XZmt4mb4_CRppM:&tbnh=114&tbnw=93&hl=nl&start=7&prev=/images%3Fq%3DM51%2Bquad%2B%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Dnl%26lr%3D

Actually the M16 MGMC was a combination of the M3 Halftrack and the Maxson Quad .50". The M5 Halftrack was the basis of the M17 MGMC. The M45 came in two towed forms the M51 (as you showed) and the M55. Another picture of the M51: M5101.jpgM55: M5501.jpg

It may have seemed ineffective because it was on a map with the ME262, I remember taking down the JU52 and even the FW190 with the staghound. Now it seems like Germans own the sky on Breakthrough, Otswinds all over the map, 2 FW190s, AND an ME262, yet the allies get their only mobile AA taken out. The Hound was also one of the best anti infantry weapons as well no match for the otswind in that suit but its speed helped a lot.
