Its a good looking map, but some things are seriously wrong with it. Keyword is "Tanks" for starters. The Americans do not have any tanks available at the start of this map, the Japanese however, DO have 3 tanks (2 ha-go's and 1 Chi-Ha iirc) in the bases closest to the american landing site. Normally that wouldnt be much of a problem, Japanese tanks suck, they are weak and have relatively light armaments (no co-ax MG's). But the problem is.. The americans have very little to fight these tanks with. Vehicles\kit concerned they have.. - 1 Corsair with single 500kg bomb, forced to initially take off in the way of taking-off Rufe's seaplanes. - 1 bazooka kit that spawns on the beach. (if they manage to take and keep the flag) - 1 LvTa4 with a low velocity gun, wich slows the craft down considerably if its fired when in the water, if that isnt bad enough the gunner and turret positions are seperate, and the thing has virtually no armor. Good picking off the japs on the beach without tk-ing everyone there as well. This makes keeping the beach flag very hard, as cover is pretty much non-existant, tanks have the advantage, no matter how crappy. Americans are suppost to make their stand with: Here: Okay, this doesnt always happen. Sometimes the Americans keep their foothold and grab a few flags. Thats great, untill a japanese player steals a sherman.. having only a single distant bazooka pickup kit to fear aside from stachels. He can roam the entire map unless some-one manages to bring the zook over, or the sherman gets bombed by the only US plane with bombs. (this goes with basicly every tank the japanese get their hands on) My suggestion is to give the americans a spawnable bazooka class, i dont know what the deal is with the absence of bazooka's on the pacific maps, but the americans need more then just one lousy pickup kit on their designated landing area. Satchels are no good if there is no cover, and there is none, and good luck finding a weak Jap AT-riflenade kit. Secondly The ticket bleed is terrible, the americans loose to much, TO fast if they dont have a flag. The bleed should be made slower for the allies and should stop once they got one flag. Okay im done now.. :beer:

You forgot to mention the Battleship that the allies have to take out the 2 Ha Go's and the Chi Ha. If the Battleship is used properly the Japanese have no chance of keeping that beach. Just use the BB against the tanks and there is no more issue.
Actually i think that there are atleast 5 allied fighter/bombers. That is feeling i atleast have because if you use a tank your gonna be bombed in no time or destroyed by the battleship. And it would be nice if the MG from the japanese MB gets a nice upgrade. As it stands now pilots just fly 3 inches with no risk above the water and kill you in no time and there isnt much you can do about that.

I dont think anyone is skilled enough with the cruiser to destroy the tanks but at the same time NOT teamkill everyone on the beach as well. Sure, if some-one uses the bazooka kit properly there is no issue, but its a single vehicle/kit. a map outcome should not rely on these alone. About the planes, i counted exacly one corsair with a bomb, and three fighters without bombs.

If its true then i think its good. fighter/bombers are unrealistic anyway being able to bomb AND dogfight while carrying a payload of 500kg is a bit strange. And besides i like to have a chance aswell in my ha-go without being swarmed by tons of planes with 500kg bombs who can dogfight aswell and bunny hopping rambo's with bazooka's. And if the allies would get tanks at the start of the map.. Well the japs wouldnt stand a chance.
Just strafe the Ha-Go's and Chi-Ha's with the Wildcat's .50cals. It's easy, just make sure you dont lag and crash into the bunker, from personal experience.
