This would be...interesting to say the least.

How about a map of the famous concentration camp rebellion at Auschwitz? The Sonderkomando (Jews who helped do the dirty work at the camps) stockpiled weapons and rebelled, destroying a few of the crematoriums.

I know it's risque to say the least, but it's worth mentioning.

And how about more rebelion maps? French partisans versus the few Germans left in paris? It could be an awesome street to street, building to building infantry battle with a tank or two in for good measure.

And the Warsaw rebellion too. There were two of those. One with the Jews in the ghetto revolting, and one when poland revolted when they thought the soviets would come just in time to help them fight the nazis (which, they didn't).

If they are gonna do a map like this they should do Sobibor, where the prisoners actually managed to break out.

Sir, you must be kidding... it would be great to see prisoners overcome their opressors and all but.. how would these maps be made.. To create all the skins and models for a prison camp? Madness!

Taliban_tordisIf they are gonna do a map like this they should do Sobibor, where the prisoners actually managed to break out.[/QUOTE] Problem with that is half of them were slaughtered, and none of them put up a fight (in the battle sense of the word). So basically, you'd have a map where the main objective was to run away from machine gun fire where you can't fight back. The only fighting they did was slowly secretly assassinating various SS guards and officers to create confusion. So Sobibor isn't really a battle map as much as it would be a race map. Well, I wouldn't expect to see this for a while, but I think one problem that the FH team will have to fix eventually is more static environment objects. Buildings, objects, terrain, etc. While I consider it to be low priority (I'd rather play a better FH with less detail than a shitty FH with tons of detail), it's something that'll have to be addressed. I mean, play some FH and look at how much stuff in the environment is exactly as seen in vanilla BF.

Thats good news and should shut all the fanboys who love teh uber poles up.

And no concentration camp maps = a law suit, im sure the jewish community wont be pleased were making maps of concentration camps where like 10 guards mow down hundreds of jewish prisoners armed with knifes and forks. Why work on that kinda map when op ov paratrooping is not here!!!!!!!!

Operation overlord paratrooping

Operation Torch

Norway (sea, air and land battle between britian and germany)

Anzio

Bastogne

Blitzkrieg (basically germany vs france in france... duh)

Dunkirk (a battle around the town of Dunkirk where the beach is uncappable leaving the brits open to a massacre like it realy was.None of this escape scenario coz that just wouldnt work)

Okinawa (last pacific battle, close combat knife in hand combat through the foliage)

Burma

New Guadalcanal

Battle of the Bocage (with hedges included!)
