Kradovech;4480503The magic shock paddles are easily the most unrealistic part of PR. If you get shot in real life, you are out of the game, you won't be fighting the enemy anymore. Especially when you are "critically wounded". The medic will stabilize your condition and, if possible, you will be sent to an aid staton. Don't get me wrong, I would never play PR if they removed the medics, as it would simply be too frustrating. But FH2 is not PR and reviving has no place in its gameplay IMO.

Though I have to agree about the medic kits being useless as it is now.

This one gave me an idea. Why not make the medic not to heal the guy but to restore 1 (capture? tactical?) point for the tem as to show that the wounded was saved and will fight in the war later on. Makes some sense but it's... strange thought.

Not a very new idea, but still good :) I suggested this in the previous thread with a small twist: save a wounded enemy soldier - his enemy team doesn't lose a point but your team gains one ;) This way people might get second thoughts on shooting enemy medics.

Be happy the FH developers even supplied the Medical Kit with a pistol, as most Medics in actual militarys were offered no weapons, except for maybe a service knife.

The Medic kit will see a much bigger role in future theatres that I know for sure. Especially normandy.

I honestly dont see how medic kit will be more important in future theatres, unless its altered in some (cant see how though :|) , but even then it will still be utterly useless, as the reasons I gave before seem to apply to all theatres and not to just North Africa

See thats what I'm trying to say. If the medics had rifles 'n shit that would be utterly stupid and unrealistic. Sounds rude, but thats the straight up truth.

Anonymous_Gamer;4480029Well ill take this opportunity to express a concern I have for the medic kit myself, I personally dont see the point in a medic kit, for one, nobody online ever uses the medic kit, so why have a kit when nobody uses it because it only has a pistol, and that cant really protect you, plus nobody wants to play `the medics bodyguard┬┤ so medics tend to die quickly, hence nobody uses it, secondly, the fact that every other kit comes with one bandage seems to neuter the purpose of the medic because when you are shot you begin to bleed, you use the bandage to stop the bleeding, but the next time you are shot, your dead, so medic cant give you another bandage to stop bleeding when shot a second time cause your dead, so what are your thoughts on this

Well Ill post this again so everybody can read it and try to understand my point of view on why medic kit really is useless in FH2

If people were NOT given bandages, it would be more interesting. Then get a medic kit that spawns with 5 to 8 of them and a rifle. Now the medic has the purpose of saving lives whenever someone is shot, instead of reviving them once they're dead, kinda like in real life.

That is true,I thought that the medics in the normandy had a M1 Carbine.Am I wrong?
