Hey, lately I've thought that your camera should shake when you fire using the Stationary MG42 like in Omaha Beach. The MG42 fired so rapidly it wasn't that easy for the soldier to control it and maintain it steady so I thought you could add that camshake that once was added to one of BF1942's patches and I at least know it's used in FH's Wildcat and Hellcat airplanes. This also could be a good idea in other type of Stationary MG but not all because they sure didn't all have the same RPM as the MG42. Right now it acts almost like a death-laser/ray in maps like Omaha Beach. What do you think?
i like it!
another camshake idea. if you are very close to a tank, the camera shakes, esp when the tank is moving.
Well at least that is realistic
The MG42 should shake less than a Cal50 for example. Because it fires much faster, the MG42s recoil is more like a steady pressure, more easy to compensate. The Cal50 on the other hand is like a series of hard blows with a hammer, because the round is MUCH bigger, and the RoF way lower.
Well I can say that I didn't like it then cause it was suicide to use the mg42 already. It might be a good idea now though, to use this and lower the crosshair spread
Sounds good !
I always thought the MG42 was a bit to accurate, especially on Maps like Omaha and Charlie. A bit of a camera-shake would do it some good.
remember this, the mg42 was 7.92mm, and our famed M2 was around 12.7mm. the m2 is a real tooth rattler, where as the the mg42 is an easy to control weapon that kicks like a .223 when on a tripod.
no more machinegun whores on omaha!!!
woot! woot! woot! woot! woot! woot! woot! woot! *hits wall*
Haha, you stole my idea! :D I was just wantin g to post it but I was also wanting to suggest to add it to the flaks and cannons too. That way you can get a feeling of power!
they don't shake, they have recoil
