Whoever's played the later releases of Galactic Conquest should also have touched upon their mini-maps: Small, intense maps developed to be played by teams of four to eight players (they got very intense when put on 32-player servers:eek:).

Why don't our beloved developers here make some for Forgotten Hope 2? Make a handful of small maps designed for 12-player servers. Maps could feature a squad of German enforcers storming a small African country-side house at night where a band of resistance fighters are holed up, attack fighters attacking the Tirpitz in that Norwegian fjord (when Europe's added, that is:rolleyes:), and so on.

The mini-maps for Galactic Conquest were really popular, and the clans loved them. I'd love to see some for Forgotten Hope 2.

Galactic Conquest was so good that you just have to copy every idea of their actions and features to FH too? I know the mod ruled, I was part doing it, but daemn, I know your a big fan of both of em but to me it seems every "cool" feature must be brought to FH from GC. :(

Nevertheless, mini-maps... hmm, plus FH, doesnt sound that good to me as I prefer larger battles. Chartres is small enough, and even it is larger than the mini-maps in GC. ;)

I think its a good idea, especially if you want FH2 to be popular on LANs and so on, in FH1, there is a couple of maps playable on LAN, like Neuen, Chartres, Pavlov and so on, but I cant se any problems with adding more of them, those who likes big battles would have them anyway, wont them?

i heard that FH won't be developed as a "clan mod". purely for public play?

It will be developed as a mod that plays well for public play and clan play, some concept as with FH1. Making a mod that "only" works fors for public play or clan play would hurt a lot. So FH2 won't be developed as a "clan mod" but neither as pure "pubbie mod".

Hey Safe-Keeper, I like that idea!

A couple of maps with just a couple of houses and such. Would be damn good too have when you and some of your mateys are on LAN and such. Besides, I cant belive it would take up so much time from the devs doing it!
