I didn't make it!
you guys think the minor countries' maps will be played more often than they are on the original FH mod, I ask this because I rarely see servers having many of these maps in their rotations and its something I hope will change in FH2, main reason I like this mod is because it lets you play as more than just your 3 main allied nations.

It's something that is hard to tell. It's certain that you will see more countries then the main allied and axis forces but who, when and with what is the big question. All depends on which theatre the devs want to move to, what maps they want to make, what the devs prefer etc. And even then they can't represent all nations (if they would put in the Norwegians the Fins would be pissed of for being ignored etc. or it would be the other way around with the same story).
So it's just a matter of "Yes, but let's just wait and see (who, where, when, with wath, with how much, (other W-questions here), ...)".

I think minor country maps are not played a lot in FH because they are unconventional, which makes them boring or laggy for a lot of people. Take Counterattack, for instance. People still using 4-86 find them laggy, and ex-quake players find it boring because its big. Ditto for Eastern Blitz, or Fall Weiss. Karelia is a bit different, but its unconventional too.
What we'd need is a map with a fun, simple and conventional layout and a minor country. Most of the "more played" maps are very simple (which is why some horrible looking Dice maps are played.). We could notice it with the mappack too, the most played maps were those were the time between spawn and kill/death was the shortest.
I sure hope though that this time around all the FH minimmods are incorporated into the instalation of server and client files so that not just a few players play the mini mods.
Seriously, though, I think more minor countries would be good for reasons already mentioned. They're exotic, the weaponry is different from the eternal big 4 WWII nations crap. Even France (sit down, French fanboys, I'm trying to help here) and Italy, although not _that_ minor, are nice to have.
The only "smaller nation" maps that I've seen that can get a bit dull are the Polish ones and Counterattack -- that is mainly because the maps are just too damn big and don't channel the battles enough, thus spreading players out all over the place. If you could re-do Eastern Blitz and turn it into a series of battles (push map?) where everyone beat on each other on a series of narrow fronts, you'd have a winner. Ditto for Fall Weiss and Counterattack. The equipment, units and voices in all the French, Italian, Polish, Australian, Canadian and Finnish maps are awesome, fun and a really cool change.
I'd like to see the above countries as well as Hungary, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Holland, Belgium, Norway, China, New Zealand, Brazil, whatever.
It won't matter if your micronesian, caroline island camel corps gets into FH2, the germans will have a better answer to your threat...
That guy can't kill my Greek hordes, he's got a major wedgie. I mean, look at his crotch. That dude's never having children.
This'll turn into an 'I want my country in FH2' spam fest really quick.
But yes, I really liked the Finnish maps in FH, and I'd love to play as them again. Bring in the minor nations, I say.

I would like to see minor countries in too. But anything other than Germany, Japan, and the big three is really an extra at the whim of the devs. Don't get me wrong, I think it adds enormously to the appeal of the game, and thus brings in more players. But there is no formula for adding other nations other than taking a dev out to dinner and getting him (or her) laid.
Well, the dinner must be pure delicatessen and the night unforgettable
