One thing I miss from FH1 is the mobile flaks and 88s from el al and gazala etc. Added an extra challenge for the pilots(and tanks). Fh2 seems to be lacking in this department. Kind of becomes easy pickens for pilots that learn level layouts pretty quick, I learned all the AA emplacements etc in minutes, the axis should definately get a mobile flak 38 cause so far all they have to combat air on the move is the 222 (and Im not sure but i think they only get one on most levels, gazala, el al).

Also is the weigh correct for the new Hurricane Ds? Seems as if they are a little to manueverable for being 1000 lbs over the normal weight. (Had no problem avoiding a 109 on my tail).

I must say, I would love to see the half track mounted 88mms, Italian 90mms, and tank chassis mounted 47mm AT guns. Stationary/pushable captured russian 76mms would be beautiful to see as well. Hopefully in the next patch, we'll get our wishes on some of these ;)

Yeah the Lancia 90/57 or whatever wuold be a nice mobile artillery piece. Especially if they put in the mounted version, on that really crappy tank chassis with no back.

"I don not deny that my heart has greatly desired this"... but... it would be such an overkill for allied tanks.

I'd say if anything it would even the playing field. The majority of the german tanks are weak compared to the allied tanks, their only saving grace is a small amount of the PzG40. The German 88mm and Italian 90mm chassis would even the playing field, even if only one was on the map. It would give the germans long range ability that they currently lack on maps like Gazala.

Thats why axis tanks are very mobile.

I dont think it would be overkill, i mean all you need is one pilot that pays attention, and it would only take 1 pass to take out the mobiles, as i remember in FH1 they were extremely high profile. As in a kept my eye out for those bastards.

man i loved my mobile 88 in fh1 best damn thing in the game.

"ohh look there at there at the horizon an sherman" *aims-fires-hits* "oohhh look a plane" *switches to AA ammo and kills that bastard*

multi porpuse guns are so much fun

to bad in fh2 the 88 ahs such a long reload time, but i would still love to see the mobile 88 and mobile flaf38, vierling ...

I think it would add a nice touch, especially on maps with hidden corners and the like, instead of either having no 88 there or having a constantly fixed one, it would be a nice surprise to see the 88s moving around a bit. The only ways one can take out a Sherman at the moment, are to use a stationary 88, mine an approach, or get lucky with the PzG40. With a mobile 88, it would make people be a little more careful before dashing around everywhere.

agreed, often only a very good F1 or a F2 could take out a sherman with ease (also marder), 88s are always being memorized where they are at and strafe/bomb/pixel arty/pixel tank HE/command arty.....
