I think the british side has not enough anti air vehicles on El Alamein and Desert Rose. Ok you get staghound on Desert Rose but you have none in the base. Weren't there staghounds in El Alamein ? A good stuka pilot with 3 250kg bombs (!) can almost keep the whole enemy team busy. A few anti air vehicles would be fine. smilie.gif

Brits only need two vehicles.

Crusader AA Mk III with 2 x 20mm Oerlikon's. I ahve seen pics of this vehicle in NW Europe after D-Day. CrusaderAA-01.jpg

The same turret was later fitted to Centaur hulls when Crusader's were retired. Centaur hull looks the same as a Cromwell hull. It is unclear if the 100 examples of the Centaur AA saw combat

wasn't there also an American halftrack with four mounted 50 cals? If so hasn't this been used by the Brits in the lend/lease agreement?

The M16. It's planned to be included in .7 or fh2 (i don't have the .txt where i've quoted the devs with me)

More AA vehicles sounds nice. What do they have, a Bofors at the main base and the MGs in the turrets of the tanks? At least give them a Staghound as a placeholder. That M16 sounds promising, though.

Staghound AA is a ugly model desperately in need of a reskin.

A M15 or M16 would be good.

Soviets should get a ZIS-42 unarmored halftrack with a 37mm AA gun in the back (can use the 40mm bofors model which it very very closely resembled). pst72033.jpg

The Brits need the Morris C9/B, not sure that it was around in the early years of the war but it is highly probable.

Are you joking. The T34 main cannon chops planes up so nicely :)

On this map it works both ways. Planes rule generally because the focus is anti-tank interdiction (redundant??) rather than air superiority. With the current load out of planes, bombers and more planes, more AA on both sides is desirable. Or less bombers... :) And I wouldn't lean to a MBT as viable AA, on this or any map.
