well, this would bring more "feel" to the battlefield.
we have them in berlin streets, which is wonderful but there are without other sound other than fire and explosions.
i would like to see some static object will emit sound from them, such as
Commander Vehicles : some sound of "discussion" inside? Tank : some sound of the crews?(i suppose the player will be playing all the role but...) Closed Civilian building : some civilian Radio or Chatting...or perhaps screaming Main Base : well, soldiers ! Battleship/Carrier/Destroyer : of course some scream of "fire!", "take cover" or some footsteps of "Crews" would make the feel better...
something unrelated: i want to have the Captain's Head in the Bridge of Ship to be sniped/blasted/strafed/bombed/rocketed...
Well, I agree to certain degree. Having conversation inside a commander's vehicle is a bit odd, but if you would have the conversation come through radio. Radio chatter so to say. Then I would rise my thumbs up for the idea.
Tanks? Yeah I always enjoyed hearing the loading sounds but all in honesty, it would be even better if you could hear the actual people work with the shells inside, how you could hear the empty shell drop in the floor and how you could pick out the crew members working with the gun. Like, imagine hearing a bit of heavy breath when loading a new shell in? Not to mention the sounds what come from clothing rubbing to each others and to metal surroundings. Would be great.
Right now we have some maps in FH2 with ambience sounds and they work as intended, creating a deeper feeling to the game. I had a "eh huh?" experience in one certain map with the ambience sounds but im not gonna spoil in which and what. ;)
