Is there anyway to make FH more bloody? For example, if you hit someone directly with a tank shell, anyway to make them splatter? Rather than just fly 20 feet in the air. confusedx.gif They have a crude version of something like this in Call of Duty, you pop someone in the head with anygun and their head pops up like a jack-in-the-box. But we all know FH owns CoD.

Well, I guess they can put in a bigger blood spray, but that is it. I don't think they can code limbs flying around and such.

You guys seen Brothers in Arms? If they don't tone it down between now and release, it will probably be one of the goriest WWII games ever (Wolfenstein, eat your heart out)...

Not important and unnecessary. Content and balance are far more important than gore.

Back in the old days, there used to be a mod where soldier would explode when killed ;) I never had a chance to play it though

i personally think that heaps of gore is disgusting. sure, blood is fine. but its a fine line between cool and disgusting

im for realism, which includes gore. but i doubt anything other than a bigger spray is possible, with the bf1942 engine..

Dont think its really necessary in this mod, and besides standing over a body to see what your trusty tommy gun does to a enemy soldier at point blank range would make you a sitting duck for any half decent shooter.....

The goriest game I ever played was Soldier of Fortune that sported a "ghoul" game effects engine. Man that game was nasty!!!

Contrary to what you might belive, shooting someone will get you a small puff of cloth and blood. Not a big fountain of blood a la Kill Bill. Shooting someone's leg off on the other hand with create some blood, but obviously less than what you guys are having in mind. Band of Brothers really caught the amount of gore there is, and I think FH is fine with it's current standard.

no,there will be no extra gore: it would be unneccesary and pointless, and adds nothing to the game except a juvenile bloodlust.
