Canadian battleships?

We had no battleship! Only a few cruisers, tons of corvettes, destroyers and a few carriers loaned to us by the brits.

Juno Beach - McGibs said he would personally see to it that Canada was represented better in FH2.

battle for holland - I agree the sheldt - I agree hong kong - Lobo has already said he plans to do this map in several threads in general discussion. the atalian hills - I agree tommygun - Tommy gun with 50 rd mag and Thompson SMG are in game now

bren - Its in game now

vehichles - Such as? Sherman? Firefly? Churchill? Valnetine? Sexton? Lynx? Aircraft? Lancaster, Wellington, Spitfire, Hurricane, and Typhoon are in game now.

Canada used mostly US or Brit equipment, all of which is in game now.

artillery - Can you be specific? IIRC Canada used US and Canadian artillery.

battleships - Can you give a example of a Canadian Battleship?

The Thompson and the Bren are already there. And as for the maps, I think that instead of Juno Beach, trying to change history a bit in the Dieppe raid would make a way more interesting map.

Destroyers River class HMCS Fraser HMCS Ottawa HMCS Restigouche HMCS Saguenay HMCS St-Laurent HMCS Skeena MCS Haida Corvettes HMCS Chambly HMCS Chilliwack HMCS Napanee HMCS Saskatoon, HMCS Levis Minesweepers Bangor class Algerine class

The Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), which started the war with only 13 vessels, had 450 ships in all, plus many smaller auxiliary units, when WWII ended. This 1945 figure breaks down as follows: 2 cruisers, 17 destroyers, 68 frigates, 112 corvettes, 67 minesweepers, 12 escort ships, 75 Fairmile motor launches, 9 motor torpedo boats, 12 armoured yachts and vessels of other types.

I'd like a Juno beach map. Gold Beach isn't really a beach assault, so a nice 'hit the beaches' map with houses and villages instead of bunkers would rock. A StuG or two, too.

i thought that i would post a little about the dieppe raid as i did not see it under your map area On l9th August 1942 troops of the Canadian 2nd Division formed the bulk of the Dieppe Raid. Of the 5,000 Canadians who took part, only about 2,000 returned to England: nearly 1,000 had been killed and 2,000 taken prisoner.
