The gray bike is nearing completion and will be attached to a 1940 Royal sidecar. The other one is gonna start a complete restoration after the other one is done. The bikes in Secret Weapons were BMW or R75s Zundapp KS750s. Not sure it has been awhile since i played that. The R12 was the most massed produced German bike during Hitler's power.

Old bikes ftw.

I was looking for a WWII BMW or DKW, but couldn't find anything in decent shape for a reasonable price. I ended up with a 1951 Swiss army Condor A580 (great option for those of you who like "old" looking motorcycles, enormously reliable, great looks) and a 1946 cherry red Moto Guzzi Airone 250.

Good on you, BMW.

Coca-Cola;3779691models are the easiest part.

 yeah but when I mean that model was shown a long time ago, I mean a LONG time ago... just wondering if the devs scraped that model or if it's just lying around waiting for someone to texture/code it (if it hasn't been already).

It shouldn't be hard to animate because you are not supposed to lean a rig. There are no means or moving parts that allow the rig to lean.Going to sharp or too fast throught turns and the sidecar can go up in the air easily. It is all muscling the bike through turns. It should be animated in the same way as a kettenkrad. The kettenkrad drives very much the same way a sidecar rig drives.

They would redo it. You can do a model like that in less than a day,of course you have to refine it... But they would use a higher polygon one, not a crappy one for bf42.

Yeah I guess they would since BF2 can handle a higher poly count for models, but you never know, a really good texture can make a low detailed model look good. If they wanted to they could even open up the old model and just add some more detail if the model permited, just depends on exactly what they want.

if they included it, i think it should be with a sidecar. First, because they were pretty common, and secondly because this way they could get around the animation/leaning part. With a sidecar, like fuzzy said, there is no leaning...so it would look good and they wouldn't have to worry about an animation for leaning.

And the most important thing you left out, you can put a machine gun on it.

Anything that you can pile more guns on = good.

hell, i'd settle with just being able to fire your hand weapons from the passenger position! An MG34/42 would be wonderful, but also think of doing an MP40 drive-by with one of those badboys...oh that would rock! Or with a panzerfaust, drive-by tank hunting....?

Did they really pile more guns even anti-tank ones on a bike for real during the war ?
