I've got a problem with my mouse. It's an IntelliMouse 1.2A PS/2 Compatible. The porblem is that it keeps stopping. Its fine one moment, then all of a sudden it breaks. I move the mouse, but the pointer on the screen is motionless. I have tried cleaning it loads of times, all the way inside, but this has no effect. Sometimes its only the left and right mouse buttons that stop working, but mostly it is the whole mouse. If any1 can help me please do, because its been like this for a while now and it's really annoying me:furious:

Check sensors. Check cables. Check PS2 Port. Smash mouse. Buy a better, optical one.

If its not the cable or the port, it's probably inside the mouse itself. If you dont wanna take apart the mouse itself just buy a new one from this place called PC Club, if one's in your area. Its only 10-15 bucks. http://pcclub.com/product_detail.cfm?itemno=A5052123#

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably just buy a new mouse then.
