1. Some maps have flak emplacements that are able to spawnrape uncappable bases (Tobruk, Sidi etc.) I think something should be done about this (perhaps blocking their view or nerfing their ground attack ability)

2. Sidi Rezegh: I think it is kind of a waste to put the flag in the basement of that awesome building. I think the focus should be shifted on fighting upstairs.

3. The Thompson could use some tweaking, it seems to be very powerful and dominates close maps like Sfakia. Perhaps reducing the amount of allowed weapons would help.

4. The Flak 88 seems to be repaired very quickly. This can be a problem, especially on Sidi Rezegh, were the 88s dominate the map.

These has been fixed and been stated in the forums already. Next patch will have Tobruk guns either blocked view to majority of flags or locked from the germans! Sidi, I dont really know what you mean with the AA-gun. You mean the flak at north side of the airfield building? Heh, its nice but it used to be a vierling during testing!

2. Sidi Rezegh: I think it is kind of a waste to put the flag in the basement of that awesome building. I think the focus should be shifted on fighting upstairs.

Well the basement is there for a reason. Its the strategic point from where the army in control of the airfield could radio to their mates. Not to mention the ruins of the big building does not give you the protection you would like, so therefore the bunker is the main cream of this building.

3. The Thompson could use some tweaking, it seems to be very powerful and dominates close maps like Sfakia. Perhaps reducing the amount of allowed weapons would help.

Thompson is fine. Use MP40 to counter it if you are getting frustated.

4. The Flak 88 seems to be repaired very quickly. This can be a problem, especially on Sidi Rezegh, were the 88s dominate the map.

Its been fixed.

Thanks for your two cents.

Thanks, I haven´t read that the flaks were fixed already. But it´s kind of weird that the main fighting takes place in the basement. It would be cooler to fight upstairs, in all these bombed rooms and debris. You could leave the commander radio downstairs, so it still would be of importance.

Try playing 16 or 32 player versions (not that many servers that have regular players run those versions?) as these versions got the main building as the battlefield, including flags in both the basement and upstairs so its a lot of fun.

Yeah, I played these versions once and that´s where I got the idea in the first place ;). but it´s true, they are not played very often.

The 16 player of sidi rezegh is really fun. We played it in FHT and it was a very good fight. Only problem is its easily defended by germans, making initial assault difficult with superb teamplay, so I cant imagine the slaughter in pubby.

one thing about the sidi rezegh building (and debris in general) can you make it so that soldiers can step more easier over the debris. Navigating true the rooms gets frustrating and jumping allot wrecks havoc with your stamina.

well trembling through half-burnt debris "wrecks havoc with your stamina" in real life, too. But I think your right, it gets quite frustrating at times.
