Natty: infantry and vehicle-mounted flamethrowers were used in multiple theaters outside the Pacific, Normandy included.

Raizok is right In normandy, the commenwealth use the Lifebuoy, wasp, churchill crocodile etc etc

here some info about flametank. Flame tank - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Flame weapons and napalm will be nice in normandy. I'm not a expert but I think if the've allready code the fire, they can make easily napalm.

i dont know much, but if you can make grenades bounce and they also kill people when they hit them, why not skin the same concept as fire, bouncing around inside, gutting the interior of bunkers, houses, caves, etc.

Yep, but there is no "make napalm" button in Editor... the weapon still needs Model, Sound, Texture, Animation, Effect, Code to work in-game. + testing tweaking etc.. and ofcourse a map to put it in... simple math: 80 hours of combined man-hours of work. Time needed elsewhere atm.

Well, theoretically its entirely possible to implement a simple fire engine, with the conflagration spreading throughout flammable statics. Practically 'though, this would not only require a lot of work to implement (chiefly for the reasons Natty mentioned), it could also impose a prohibitively large computational load on the server.

I think they allready begin the work on the flame stuff.

If i remember correctly, Napalm was useless in BF:V Anyways it would be nice, but i guess a bit over the top since it would cover a huge area and kill instantly, like a mini nuke
