Though I must say I was first shocked in horror when I saw the topic "supply lines", I think your suggestion is good. There's really no point in even thinking of creating real supply lines on FH's scale, but heavier reliance on ammunition replenishment would be an improvement methinks. On most maps this could simply be achieved by replacing many of the ammo boxes by mobile ammo carriers. It would also help increase the significance of APCs and trucks.
KleenexManBut there will still be a smacktard that drives off with a supply truck to cap a flag or to transport theirselves somwhere and therefore getting theirselves and the supply vehicle destroyed.
And they'll get yelled at incessantly, and eventually they'll smarten up or play something else. If you didn't add features because of a few smacktards abusing them, there would be no features.
Maybe have ammo spawns for each team that won't rearm the other's team. When the other team captures the flag, they can only use the other team's ammo for captured weapons and their own ammo, which will be linked to a different spawn for that point, for their side's weapons. Then you have the option of depriving the enemy of their ammo or not for a short time until it respawns, so if they are pushing back they have to watch out or destroy their own supplies, or that the other team can sabotage their ammo in the middle of the game or while being pushed back from the flag.

FH has been out for a long time...so has BF1942 at that and yet we still see smacktards. :lookaround:
