I would like it if that the bigger the map, the larger the viewdistance so there's no more of this fog-at-300meters-can't-see-farther BS. Just imagine 20 Crusaders and 5 Matilda IIs charging entrenched German 88s with the 88s working at REALISTIC DISTANCES (+2000meters). It is nice to have longer ranges, and it may also mean more realistic planes. IIRC, planes were definately not as maneuverable as they are in FH1. With larger maps we could slow down the turns and such to a realistic level. BTW, a handy bargaining tip, if a Spitfire pilot pushed his plane the way it can go in FH, he would black out from the G forces.

You probably think giving a thread a non-title is cute but it's not. Please title something intelligently or don't post.

Title your thread so people know whether or not to bother clicking on it.

As of right now, the BF2 editor doesn't even support 4 by 4 km maps. And let's face it, the engine isn't made for maps that big. Simply because the area of the map is 4 times as big, you'd have 4 times the loading time.

It depends I guess, I readed somewhere that making a map for BF2 using the biggest option available, still makes it load the entire map even if you border it down to a small field, so to have a bigger map, I would say the borders need to be thin.

Thank you ANZCSAS and Braun. It got your attention so there, all my other threads were "pun-ny"so I couldn't think of anything,ok?Wasn't trying to be cute.If a moderator finds it a problem be more than glad to change it,and I have seen thread names like this. Maps I guess are fine, but maybe some could be a bigger, like maybe for sea battles or Bombing the Reich type maps.

@Mad Mac:People just need to know or it will bother them :D

My idea was to make the red zone further out so you could technically live longer.I was thinking of like a scrolling map so you can go out further and still be in game.

@Wjalso:Same here that would rock and havng G-forces (dought it) would rock equeally.Xfire me some time.
