i find you guys have made a lot of beach maps for d-day so just keep thos they are good but the airborne had a lot to do with the war in normandie like if you guys could make a map with american starting in c-47 and the germans start out on the ground with no tanks bit a lot of aa gun and once they amercian get a flag the c-47 stop respwaning this map would be airborne so they have thompson m1 and m1a1 carbines bars and 30 cals also the germans have a lot of mg 42 nest dug in with the ground would be some houses and alot of forest some roads maybe a river what do you think?

Use the search function. This has been suggested many times.

Screw the bloody 101 Airborn. I've had enough games with them! Next they'll be releasing games on how the 101 took Stalingrad, how they liberated Northern Africa, all single handedly. I'm so sick of the America vs. Germany maps. Some 10% of maps should be that, what about the forgotten eastern front where 90% of the war took place?

The Eastern Front utterly dwarfs every other theatre in WW2, and yet it is the one we hear the least about (apart from perhaps the British in the East)

Well, you also have to accept the fact, that the majority of people here are from The U.S. and Western Europe and that since we all see Hollywood movies and series are unwantedly biased in favor of US vs. German scenarios since most people like to reenact already known scenarios. But I also ahve to laugh at people who think D-Day was the most important battle of WWII just because it looked awesome in SPR. What most people don't know is that the Normandie Landings went better than anyone in the high command had expected as they overall met less resistance than anticipated (except Omaha). Another thing about D-Day was that the battle lasted 1 day and probably around 10.000 casulties on both sides. Now Stalingrad which is de facto the most important battle of WWII lasted for many months and ended up with around 1.2 Mio casulties, 1 Mio. of those on russian side...
