Hi i've recently installed an Nvidia Geforce 5200 128mb and now having texture issues with characters especially when near lights, I have the latest drivers and have lowered all settings within the game including dynamic lighting to no avail, I used to have an Nvidia hercules 64mb and it worked ok and this was meant to be an upgrade please help! I'm nothing without playing my favorite game.

Nvidia Geforce 5200 128mb isnt good. Its a ok card for some games with not high requirements on the cards. A new GF5900 128mb or a ATI Radeon 9800 are one of the best!

Fuzzyduck sounds like you might have gotten bit by the marketing weasels. Go to my post and look at the chart. It gives you a list of many video cards all run on the same system and all running the same game so you can get a rough idea how they compare.

Chances are your old card is still listed and you can compare how it runs next to a 5200. http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=115579

Also as pestilence mentioned post a pic or two so we can see what kind of problems you are having.
