i love the mobile 88. favourite vehicle in the game to drive. Plus for some reasons its the absolute best vehicle to launch off of deployed machine guns.

USMA2010There was also a Russian mobile AA gun, the ZSU-37. As the name implies, it used a 37mm gun.

Only 75 of them were built at the very end of the war, and like the T44 and JS3, it seems they were too late to get to the frontline.

Most of the soviet mobile AA consisted of trucks mounted with 37mm guns (copy of the Bofors) and quad Maxim machineguns (a must for FH2). I have also seen a couple of pictures of T60 and T70 light tanks in anti-aircraft firing positions (these light tanks are musts for FH2).

Well they also used DsHk 38's on trucks as shown on this lend-lease Dodge WC52. I think it would make a pretty nice addition for FH2. Dodge%20WC52%20Front_cut.jpg

The 13th RaptorThe Dshk38. isnt that thing superior to the .50cal browning? and suppost to be on soviet tanks instead of the whimpy DP?
Well the DSHK can penetrate armor somewhat better then .50 Cal. But the DsHk is less accurate then the .50 Cal. As far as i know only the heavy Russian tanks such as the IS-2 had the Dshk as AA mount. And the T-26 series had the DP as a AA mount.
Yeah, the DsHk38 is another must have for FH2 anyways

Hehe, can't agree more! Always wondered why it was never added.

How about truck/halftrack towed Flak38s and bofors? Smaller targets, more stable, far more common.

Because the Bofors could not be towed by a Bedford.

the DShK had a lower muzzle velocity than the M2HB. however, sources say that the DShK had a heavier round, thus making the 48mps speed difference a moot point.
