I actually got the whole file for this map, so I decided to just fly around in a Swordfish and check it out. These are some things that I think could be changed to make it look and play better when it is re-released.

Make only one capturable flag. With the four in the game now, you will just have the ships divide up and go flag whore. This will result in smaller naval battles. With just one flag, you get a MASSIVE naval battle with destroyers, battleships, submarines, and torpedo planes all in one!

Add in the converted carrier from Atlantic. This ship was one of the coolest I have seen from FH in a long time. The visuals under the deck were spectacular too. Add this in as the main launch point of the Swordfish, and put Martlets (read: reskinned F4 Wildcats) on the Arc Royal instead.

Add some of the Liberty Ships in an out of bounds area as statics just to add to the atmosphere of the map.

When the time comes, and all is ready, be sure to put some PBYs, Grumman Avengers, and Focke Wulf Condors in as well. The Luftwaffe and RNFC were a large part in Atlantic naval battles.

Again, overall, the map, er ocean, looks great. Can hardly wait until we can play it on a server with lots of peopel!

Some of the downloads people used to get .65 did not include the entire file. It shoul d be several megabites, yet some were only around 250 KB of data.

Some players can play the map online, so I guess its like the Prohovkarovka in 0.61 (I suppose it have been fixed in 0.65). Atleast for my old Prohovkarovka-problem, I just changed the sound settings over too 22kHz. Have someone tested it with Rheinübung?

it has something to to with one file having capital Rs and some having lowercase rs in Rienen-BUG

This map as great potential.. For once i'll agree with USMA, it would need only one flag. I hope we will see it on server rotations when .66 arrives ( the bunnyhoppers will just have to leave).

God, the lag will be unbearable! :uhoh: For me that is.. i cant be near a cruiser with another ship without getting a slideshow. But for you non-issue people.. im happy for you.. sad%20%28frown%29.gif *downloads DC*

For those who havent seen it, trust me, it looks amazing! Just remove the other three flags and add in that Carrier converted from a transport an I at least will be happy.

Yes but putting 2 battleships next to each other on Midway lags.... imagine throwing in 4 cruisers and such. It will turn into Altantic all over again. I'd say make it two flags.
