one of the only things i didn't like about FH1 was how the satchels looked.. they didn't appear very realistic at all, in fact.. looked like the small pillows one keeps on their couches or on their bed for decor.

demo_bag.jpg they should look more like this.. less rounded, sturdy in shape, more floppy, fabric-y

But they're so comfy!

Sometimes you just need to take a 5 or 10 second nap on the battlefield.

Agreed about satchels, and I'd like to see the throwing done more realistically as well. There should be more possibilities for chucking them into bunker entrances, that sorta thing.

Huge request for a modeller: can you please make it so engineers/demolition types actually carry satchels as shoulder bags, like they're intended?

I agree with Fuzzy, would up the immersion factor and just plain look cooler (also lets enemies and friendlies see who the engineers/tankhunters are.)

Satchels should be rarer, they should NEVER be part of a spawnable kit that has "good" anti infantry weaponry as well, i dont know about you guys, but the omnipresent satchel wielding engineer monkeys seriously pissed me off on some maps. [/rant]

Anyhow.. yeah you should be able to just "drop" a satchel using RMB, or vary the throwing distance by "charging" the RMB, OR just tossing using LMB.

Personally commenting both in relevance to thread and what fuzzybunny said, I think there hould be more variance in the engy kit. Not just gun, knife, satchels. A map like midway or wake could be just explosives or sumtin, Foy and could be paratrooper engy items i cant think of and things like wired mines, then huge tank maps can be mines and satchels. Basically varying. And since we are seeing no engy kits in the future, how will the satchels and engy-like things be implemented(besides repair truck)?

well i'm sure the FH devs will find some way of incorporating them in a historically accurate fashion.
