I don't know if some one already brought this up and I am really too lazy to search through the threads...but will the Pacific Islands (Late War) like say oh, Iwo Jima be the tunneled underground death fortress of suckage and hell that they were in real life, where the Japanese have a completely unfair advantage because of their ability to hide underground or will they just be half tunneled mildly trenched things like in 0.7 FH for 1942? Um oh wait suggestion thread, um suggestion...working bayonets, no that has already probably been said, um , give me a minute here I will come up with something oh I know, no wait...oh well this was a question more then a suggestion but I guess it could be a suggestion.

Working Bayonets are in, FH2 is starting with the African campaign. The Pacific will be done later.

I think that I've seen it stated that tunnels will be more in effect when warranted in FH2. You can already see some of it (Eastern Blitz, the Japanese one with all kinda tunnels, guns etc - broken push map, come on, come on think think) in 0.7. I'm with you - the tunnels are what made certain Japanese campaigns "interesting."

It may be noted, for those that don't know, that Tunnel system, like the one in BF:V, is not supported in BF2. Therefor these japanese tunnels, as well as other tunnels, will have limited abilities, as they cannot be really underground, but faked like the ones we know from FH.7

We allready have an 'underground' bunker, shown in one of the news updates, that seems to work just fine so I'm sure we'll see something cool in FH2 Pacific. :)

Complex underground tunnels are possible.

Well I was just suggesting because well Iwo Jima just isn't Iwo Jima with out some Japanese dude popping out from the ground with a type 99, mowing down 3 Americans and then hiding for his life again.

Dude.

Imagine what a shotgun would be like in that tunnel.

Ah yes, and looking good, if I may say so. Yet it is not based on the same technology as BF:V was, if I'm not mistaken, by transporting you, somehow through the ground, and even loading up a new map of that tunnel.

Meaning, this is the old-school tunnels, "faked" like in BF1942, right? Fantastic work, I might add, going offtopic :)
