i have searched the forum and there are no SPECIFIC threads about pzfaust 60's..... now lets get down to business, the pz 60 should be implemented as the main anti-tankweapon for germans because the pz 30 was really a disaster and thats when the pz 60 was made. later the pz 100 was made and used very much, BUT since peeps complain about it being to strong the pz 60 would be a good option. THIS is to COMMON of a WEAPON to IGNORE. EDIT: if you want info Panzerfaust - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia P.S.: Personal OPINIONS are endorsed by ME P.P.S.: sorry for the mispell
anyone got an opinion?
you have to wait longer than 25 minutes.
i know im impatient...im going to bed
The first Panzerfaust was the Faustpatrone Kleine. The range was too short and the warhead shaped caused problems with the warhead glancing off the sloped armor of Soviet T-34's.
The redesigned warhead was one of the main parts of the Panzerfaust 30.
Panzerfaust Kleine and the Panzerfaust 60 were both in FH, I think you can expect them to be in FH2. But remember they did not start appearing til 1944.
Even though you said the Faustpatrone 30 may have yielded less than impressive results, it was still manufactured in massive quantities right up until late in the war as it was lighter and easier to carry for front line Soldiers and due to the fact that it was cheaper and easier to keep producing it seeing as all the infastructure was already in place rather than converting the factories to produce pz60 and 100's. The old idea of something is better than nothing, and it we have enough of those somethings they might actually be useful.
Also on the other side of the argument there is no doubt that the pz100 was crazily powerful! However if you need to take out a light tank, or an armoured car, why waste something so powerful on such a pathetic target.... If there's a Faust30 on hand, its still gonna kill it...
Personally i believe that the load out of AT weapons should be all based around pickup kits (Todtenbruch style) and depending on the year, have different assortments of them laying around the map inside trench systems etc
The number behind the Panzerfaust is not the armor penetration, its the effective range.
A Panzerfaust 100 could be accurately fired from 100m while the Paznerfaust 30 required the firer to be within 30m
The warhead did not change considerably between the Panzerfaust 30 to the 100.
Even the Panzerfaust 30 could penetrate up to 140mm of armor.
THERE ARE NO PANZERFAUST 60 in FH
check it out in your objects.rfa
anyway non-mappers won't know what there are...
I knew it was only the Faustpatrone 30 and the Panzerfaust 100, but that's only because I notice stuff about games very quickly.
