I was just testing Cretan Village and I picked the German AT rifle kit before parachuting down. The swaying view that the AT rifle gives looked really good when parachuting. Is there any way of adding this sway to the player's vision whatever weapon they have when they are parachuting? The sway would really make it harder for the person to aim and use theiir guns while in mid-air and it also looks pretty good too...

I think the sway-n-swing should be added to all weapon, rifles included, pistols excluded. Just like it's currently done with the Piats. Then go away with the unrealistic expanding crosshairs, and here you go: skill based realistic aiming without point-n-click :deal:

Well it was more for the parachuting that I thought the sway looked good...

In BF2, parachuting is way different then in BF42. You actually fall down with the wind, you can lean to any side to try to change the direction, but the inertia will not let you do the precission jumps like in BF42. And thanks to this movement with inertia, it's very difficult to aim while parachuting in BF2. Try it

lol I completely agree with you hydraslav. ALL the guns should have the sway (to verying degrees of course). the damn croshair widening is just so corny ya know. Id love to see skill rest in SKILL not random luck.

Any chance of this Devs?

Realisticly they shouldn't even have weapons out while they are parachuting.

I'm sure if Mr. Cheese could figure out a way to make them all get thier kits from a weapons canisters he would.

Heh, now thats an idea. BF42 allows a user-carried "weapon" to be dropped and "spawn" an object (ActionBF mod allowed spawning off AA guns and Missile Silos).

They could code a "canister" or "bag" weapon that would have to be dropped, and then it would spawn a kit that the solder will pick up :naughty:
