The question is can they be implemented in FH2 properly and used as decoy to lure the enemy into ambushes ? THE DECOY PARATROOPER DUMMY HISTORY SITE ! Paradummy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No offense but I think it would be quite useless since people are playing this game multiple times/over and over again and will be able to discern a real player from a dummy in oh say 1-2 seconds.

I think it's a good idea to add some atmosphere.

I think it would be great if they could replace the ammo boxes that drop out of the transport plane with fake humans on chutes. A few times I have seen a chute just over a hill, gone to it just to see an ammo box sat waiting there for me instead of a kill.

With Transport planes and any Airborne map it would actually be fairly useful in reducing the Rape of the Paratroopers that happens so often still...

and Without enemy nametags how exactly are you going to tell a real paratrooper from a dummy?... Especially if weapons are unusable while parachuting as I recall a Dev mentioning

It would add atmosphere like Static ships would and could be said to mimic the % of troops that landed and twisted an ankle if you did not want them as actual stuffed dummies.

Sounds reasonably useful, unlike bots, at least these thing wouldn't take tickets away.

I'd like this, actually. It could be implemented in a number of ways, too. You could have a paratrooper transport plane, like the C-47, which could drop 'paradummies' in addition to carrying actual troops, for example.

I think it'd create some interesting tactics if a plane first dropped a squad of troops, and then flew another hundred meters and dropped a 'squad' of dummies, still in the enemy's view, forcing them to split up their defenders.

Great idea, I agree with Safe Keeper. Also it could be used as a commander option.

Hmm that would be interesting. But in the small levels we have it would be much easier to notice the dummy strawmen... We would need maps ten times the current maximum size. =p
