ideal FH2 and PR computer that i plan to buy is around 770 $ USD.
You can buy a refurbished(emachines, HP, dell[though probably not]) computer with a 4200+ dual core, 250Gb SATA2(not that it really matters what type of SATA it is since the HD's discs don't spin fast enough), 16X cd-burner, with a shit load of USB2 ports and firewire and all the rest of those ports for CAN $540... with a $460 allowance for a vid card...
3000-6000, my ass. 1500 with a 21inch monitor.
sorry for going off topic, but i have to post this. AMD 4800 dual core Asus 480X motherboard 1 gig memory ATI X1950XTX 512mb dual layer DVD burner 160gb HD high def 7.1 audio 5.1 logitech X530 speakers
for a grand total of 803 $ USD. It is quite possible, and that's what i'm getting.
Back on topic, would a mauser round (~8mm) be able to actually go through the airplane glass, is it some type of high impact glass they have in there, or just normal thick glass?
Get 1 more gig of RAM my man. Seriously it's a more worthy investment than those lowly speakers. Also for speakers, get these NCIX.com - Buy Logitech Z5500 Digital 5.1 Speakers 500W RMS SILVER-BLACK Analog Coax Optical - 970115-0403 In Canada. There is better sound and I don't know what type of sound card is built in but since you have a dual core it won't be much of a problem unless you want very high quality sound, in which case I'd suggest an X-Fi(for games) or a Auzentech or Turtle beach(for movies). Whatever you just need to research the stuff...

lowly speakers they may be, but they're 300 dollars less than the ones you suggested. And since i'm looking at a budget gaming rig, i'd rather save that money for something else. Thanks for the suggestion though. I plan to buy more ram from newegg later, from the site i'm building it from ram is very overpriced.
If you have any expertice in computers and if your mobo is a good/ easy one to install (Asus are good amongst others just not DFi since they usually require jumper cables and are oriented for a more tech savvy type of person). Also, it's a CAN 250$ difference between the two types of speakers and from what I see with people who buy them is they get tired of the cheap ones or something breaks and end up buying the more expensive ones. So be careful with them to say the least.:p
point taken. If all else fails i can just take the ones on the computer i have right now, it's outdated but it's got the best sound system available. Let me look up the specs on it real quick... SB audigy audio 5.1 altec lansing speakers with a tower subwoofer as big as my computer case.
So about the glass penetration and shooting in general, will the hit-boxes be altered a bit so they don't suck so bad? Because the original BF2 ones just blow, you see blood and the body is flinching but there is no response and the person just keeps on running. Gets annoying.
no, i don't mean just the glass penetrating, sometimes a flak shell could penetrate the metal parts and injure the pilot too
also, the whole pilot's body should be ACCESSIBLE by any weapons rather than just his head.
