OK, so this is where Lustvig loses his mind. But I had this thought reading all the concerns about people deliberately bailing to deny kills to other pilots, etc.

What if...just bear with me here...what if we could take kill tracking OUT of the game? Instead of tracking discreet kills, it was added to your point total for all other actions in FH2 (capping, healing, resupplying, etc. etc.) without being a discreet #.

That would draw the game away from the kill-whores (and their nemesis, the "I'm gonna deny you a kill cause I'm a 12-year-old little sh*t) and focus the game more on the TEAM WINNING the overall map.

Am I mad? Or am I a genius?:dread2:

No stats, period. No ranking would be better. Every selfish, noobish, 'tardish behavior there is arises out of stats and ranking. It's the stupidest most teamwork-killing concept there is, and makes me as mad as does the fact I have actually paid for a game which locks me out of at least 50% of its weapons unless I play the game in one particular way. Damn those arrogant assholes.

I agree with the OP to a point.

Taking away "frag" points will eliminate alot of disruptive players whom tend to be frag whores of some sort. Sure, those arty/tiger monkeys say they just like helping the team so much they always pull the same tricks, i'm betting they'll be less inclined if their spawncamping doesn't earn them their #1 place and gold medal.

On the other hand, defend/assault, repair/heal points will remain, and thus teamplay will increase. And of course, global tracking should never be a part of FH, let those "competitive" players watch themselves on third party tracking sites.

You must spread some reputation around before giving it to jumjum again.

Damn.

The guys who bail out of planes to "deny a kill" are infinitely less "n00bish" than those who WHINE ABOUT IT LIKE SIX YEAR OLD GIRLS.

Here is an idea -- Shoot him.

And removing the score all together would be fine too.
