stylieA good sniper can cover 7 mg's from the beach!!! All without moving. Yep, from midway up on the left side, find a comfy spot. From there you can hit both guns in both bunkers (4) The mg in the middle of the ridge (5) The mg on the beach all the way over on the right (6) And the MG in the bunker at the middle flag (next to the nebel which by the way would also be covered!!!) Thats 8 stationary and popular static guns. This is a must if you want your team to have a good time. And btw its the challenge that makes it so much fun!!!
But since anyone can pick that kit up, it might as well be a clueless noob that has no idea how to shoot at range, in which case the allies are screwed. :uhoh:
FuzzyBunnyI could turn this around: "Probably because we know the FH dev. team can handle vehicles and armies quite well, etc. etc. Valid point, but do you _really_ believe the average "I think we should have country xyz" suggestion is done because the guy making the post thinks this far? No, I'm pretty sure it's because "gee, I want to see pretty gee-gaws for country xyz". And before you say it, yes, there are certain elements, vehicles, uniforms, whatever, that I would love to see, of course (otherwise I'd be playing another reality mod for some FPS.) I just think the focus on purely visual elements is way too pronounced..
I don't see the turning around working quite as effectively. Observe: we all enjoy FH, correct? Otherwise we wouldn't be here. The reason FH has so many fans is because of gameplay; we prefer the style of gameplay FH offers over those of most other games. As such, the majority of the player base is quite certain that we can leave it all to the FH devs. to create a similar, but even better, experience in FH2 as in FH1. So we're unconcerned about that because we figure, hey, if it's going to be a sequel to FH1, then it has to be good. On the other hand, concerning the armies, we don't have any clue as to what FH plans to add. We know we'll see the big five, but from there they haven't confirmed what we will see and what we won't see. In FH1, there wasn't a standardized way of adding armies in; for instance, it seemed like the Australians were added surprisingly at Tobruk in .7, as even in the FH FAQs Australia was listed under the "not important to create" subject. Or on the other hand, whereas the Italians had a heavy emphasis in words throughout the early phases of FH, they ended up only appearing in one level in the last release. So in short, there's much less certainty over the "visuals" as there is over the gameplay. As for the part concerning "Add this Army" topics, to be honest it's hard to say. Most (but not all) of the suggestion topics concerning an army have included famous battle names in an attempt to bolster the reason why the aformentioned army should be included. In any case, I do provide input into gameplay issues that I find interesting or that would concern how gameplay works, like with that "bleeding" topic I made a while back. I'm fairly certain a lot of the people who strive for the inclusion of an army also partake in such issues about gameplay.
Italians maybe just appear in a map but they have a luxury equipment, most of their important weapons, 4 tanks, the sahariana transport, fancy hats and all they need. They have just one map because they arrived in the last stages of development of FH1, if not they would be showcased in more maps.
I know that they were very well made (they had all the stuff they really needed), and I know that they were in the last stages of development, but it still is a pity they're only in one map. I mean in FH2, if they appear in the last release again and only get one map again, then what's really the point? To make all that fancy stuff only to never use it but once... distressful.

Thats true. and valid, but what can you do? A week ago we were playing Tulagi and for whatever in the hell reason I spawned as the comander in the sub, So with Fuzzybunny berating and verbally abusing me to beach it and use as a spawn point, I did... All the way the hell out on a sandbar! There was no way in hell I should have been the captain of that thing and definitly not my finest moment!!! But it can still be done without the rifle I guess or you could ahem... accidently fumble a nade and have you buddy pick it up!!! DOH!
That'd be fun, but I'm glad they're focusing on the African front.
