I have bought a new 19" monitor, and it is bloody cool btw. The problem is that some of my games only fill up the screen as if it was 17". There is a thick, black border around the screen. Is the problem something with the game configurations or is it the display configurations i need to change?

have you installed the diver. it might just be the settings on the monitor itself. look under the screen and there might be arrows or something like that, that you can adjust.

First, check and adjust your monitor settings. Make sure the horizontal and vertical settings fill your screen completely.

If you are using a resolution such as 1024x768 and you are using 800x600 in games, you'll find that you'll have that black border.

Either set your resolution to whatever you use for games, or change your games resolution to whatever you use for your desktop.

I solved the problem. I though that once you had adjusteded the screen once, it fitted all programs. Apperently I was wrong. Thanks for the attention, anyway.
