I'd personally like to see these two ideas implemented in future FH2 releases.

When a planes propellers come into contact with another object (ground, barrage balloon or whatever) they bend and stop spinning causing the plane to glide, not explode.

That brings me to the next idea. I've tried crash landings but at the moment the plane just explodes, no matter how perfectly you do it. It'd be excellent to have the props bend then the plane gradually come to a halt, after sliding for 100m or so.

That's pretty much the way it's done in IL2 sturmovik, it would be a neat detail but I don't know if it's possible in the BF2 engine.

now i hardly now anything about this, but after seeing many other answers about suggestions. my guess is that it's now possible with the BF2 enginge, that's the usual answer.

Possibly statics cause less damage to planes? This way if you don't have a chute or you are on fire, you just gently ram the ground and watch the smoke and flames behind you as you run before the fuel tanks explode.

Was it me or did teh tires wobble as if flat or damaged when shot in vBF2?? I would kinda think that would be the same kind of thing used for a damageable prop??

No they didnt....

There is no way to destroy one part of a vehicle without destroying the whole thing....you cant just take out the props....

I would like to see more planes falling from the sky rather then exploding though. Also, it sucks when you shoot down a plane and they come to a dead stop in the air then you need to quickly dodge it. Its a lil over the top. Prop Strike isnt really that important to me. But I would love to see more planes lose power and crash to the ground. Maybe more pilot only deaths too.

Yea well i believe you can add explosions to trigger at certain levels of health, so say if the airplane got down to a certain amount of health, a small explosion would sent it in a direction it didnt want to go, and the engine would stop. That would be interesting to see.
